Poetry Out Loud is a national arts education program that encourages the study of great poetry by offering a dynamic recitation competition for high school students across the country. This program helps students master public speaking skills, build self-confidence, and learn about literary history and contemporary life.

Elizabeth Young holds an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University and a B.A. in English and Art History from Hillsdale College. She was appointed to The Gregory School faculty in 2002.
