― 8th grade science teacher

Part-time or full time 8th grade science teacher needed for the 2020-2021 school year.  Units of study taught at this level:  Properties & Classification of Matter, Chemical Interactions, Atomic Structure, Periodic Table, Electricity & Magnetism, Forces, Newton’s 3 Laws of Motion.  The Middle School Science Program at TGS  is taught using a framework of scientific inquiry, which is hands-on, lab-based and has deliberate inbuilt continuity and progression throughout the grade levels.

― Upper School Chemistry Teacher

The Gregory School is seeking an Upper School Chemistry teacher for the 2020-2021 school year. The successful candidate will join an exceptional team of teachers and work with curious, passionate, and capable students in grades nine through twelve, teaching Chemistry, Organic Biochemistry, and AP Chemistry.

Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of secondary or post-secondary teaching experience in Chemistry. We are seeking candidates with the commitment and necessary technical skills to appropriately and effectively integrate technology, student collaboration, and online texts into their teaching. Salary is commensurate with experience.
