Senior-Fifth Grade Exchange: College-bound seniors say farewell to Middle School students and teachers

May 13 brought a new tradition to The Gregory School. The class of '21, bearing TGS class of '28 t-shirts and wearing their college shirts, walked to the fifth grade kiva to meet with the students and exchange gifts. The fifth graders presented the seniors with a poem they wrote as a class and goodie bags.  After the exchange, the seniors returned through the Middle School campus as students and faculty in grades six through eight cheered them on.

The senior-fifth grade exchange is a wonderful opportunity to connect our youngest and oldest students. It enhances the bridge between our two sides of campus, brings back memories for our seniors, and provides our Middle School students with additional aspirations for their time in our Upper School and beyond.
