Meet the Judges:

Arianna DuPont loves the feeling of a camera on her hip and no plan or destination in mind. For her, photography is an exercise in wandering, relinquishing control and responding to your raw surroundings as opposed to trying to orchestrate "the shot." She was the recent scholarship recipient to the Outdoor Photo Alliance's inaugural Women's Photo Convention and has been recognized with an honorable mention, second prize, and a first place award in the Arizona Highways Adventures in Nature Student Photo Contest and publication in the magazine. She has also interned with the Tucson Jazz Festival as a concert photographer and is currently working with our very own Amy Haskell '91 as an intern at Haskell Photography.

Keith Gregory III is a TGS senior whose work can be identified by its thoughtful and evocative composition as well as its sense of place. His pieces exhibit a rawness of emotion, showcasing his instinctive eye and natural skill as a storyteller. Keith particularly excels when it comes to monochrome photography, with which he captures the character of his subjects through the simplicity and clarity of black-and-white imagery. Keith's work has regularly sold through our local art show, and he has recently been showcased at the Pima County Public Library High School Art Invitational.

Luis Leal is a senior with three years of experience in digital photography. His main area of focus is documentary photography, which he uses to examine the idea of family. He is especially adept at crafting compelling images of his own family, exemplifying the value he places on strong connections to loved ones. Most recently, Luis's work was awarded an honorable mention in the Arizona Highways Adventures in Nature Student Photo Contest.
