Ashley (Romero) Pflug ('04) earned a Bachelor's degree in psychology from the United States Military Academy in 2008.
After graduation, she commissioned as an officer in the United States Army on May 31, 2008. Ashley then served on active duty for six years, including a one-year tour in Afghanistan from December 2011 to December 2012. She continues to serve in the Army Reserves as a logistics officer.
Her fondest memory at St. Gregory was going on the Italy trip.
"[St. Gregory] gave me an extremely diverse education that has benefited me immensely. From aviation ground school to Latin and everything in between, St. Gregory fostered my growth across numerous facets of life. I learned how to be an independent thinker in the classroom and practiced navigating the "real world" through trips abroad and encouragement to volunteer in my community. It shaped who I am, the friends I (still) keep, and set me up for success. It is exactly the experience I want for my children."
Ashley married David Pflug on June 1, 2008 and they have two daughters, Evie and Sarah. Ashley is currently a business advisor at USAA.
