Maddy (York-Stephens) Zeringue, ’98, is an Emmy award-winning producer who works in communications at Red Bull Media House, which is headquartered in Salzburg, Austria, with an office in Santa Monica, California. In her eight years with the company, Maddy spearheaded global communications for the historic Red Bull Stratos mission, which saw Felix Baumgartner jump from the edge of space, and which still holds the record for the most watched live stream in Internet history, with 9.5 million concurrent views. Most recently, she has overseen communications strategy for Red Bull Media House’s worldwide product portfolio, including the release of feature films “McConkey” and “On Any Sunday, The Next Chapter,” marketing of premium programming on the media company’s digital video service, Red Bull TV, and publicity efforts for the 550,000 circulation consumer men’s lifestyle magazine, The Red Bulletin. When not on the road to support a film premiere or conduct a media tour in New York or Los Angeles, Maddy resides in Eastern Tennessee with her daughter, Zoe, 1, and husband Chris, who is a COO for LifePoint Hospitals. She received a bachelor of arts in communications and sociology from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas in 2002, and a Master’s degree in strategic public relations from the University of Southern California in 2004.
